The aims tried to be reached along the course can be summed up as:
• Distinguishing the different characteristics of the oral and written expression in English.
• Differences between formal and informal English (as written as oral)
• Choosing a certain topic to develop and be able to order the ideas properly according to the discourse rules.
• Carrying out and writing a certain text according to design in a logic order, giving only the certain and necessary information and taking into account the grammatical and lexical rules of the English language.
• Using the precise and appropriate vocabulary in each situation related to design.
• Working correctly on intonation and pronunciation when presenting information and developing ideas.
• Presenting orally and in public a report or paper.
• Facing a professional interview using improvisation when needed.
• Defending a portfolio.
